The best baby tracker apps in India, compared honestly
Which app suits you depends on what you need it for — fast newborn logging, sleep coaching, content to read, or a record that lasts. Here is how the main options compare for Indian parents, including where our own app falls short.
For Indian parents who want one app for the whole of the early years, Araia is the strongest all-round pick — it follows the IAP vaccination schedule, charts WHO growth, logs feeds, nappies and sleep in one tap, syncs both parents free and has an AI assistant that reads your baby's own history. If sleep coaching is your only goal, Huckleberry is the specialist; for the simplest possible logger, Baby Tracker or Nara Baby; for pregnancy content and an Indian community, Mylo.
We make one of the apps on this list, so read this with that in mind. We have tried to be fair: every app below is good at something, and the right choice depends on which problem you are trying to solve. What we can offer is the India-specific view that most "best baby app" roundups — written for American parents — leave out.
What matters in India that roundups miss
- The vaccination schedule. Indian paediatricians follow the IAP immunisation timetable. Most international apps either skip vaccines or default to the US CDC schedule, which leaves out BCG and typhoid conjugate and times several doses differently. Reminders from the wrong schedule are worse than none.
- Growth charts. The IAP recommends WHO standards for children under five. Check which reference an app plots against.
- More than two caregivers. Grandparents, a nanny, a parent working away — sync that stops at one partner, or charges for it, does not fit many Indian households.
- Where your data lives and whether it is sold. Infant health data is sensitive and permanent.

Araia — best all-in-one app for Indian parents
Araia is built around two ideas: logging has to be fast enough that you are still doing it in month three, and the record should stay useful after nappies stop mattering.
- Logging: one tap for feeds, nappies, sleep, solids and medicines; a home screen widget; Siri; lock-screen timers for breastfeeding and sleep that keep running if the app is closed.
- Health record: the IAP vaccination schedule as real dates with reminders, WHO growth centiles, doctors and appointments, and medical reports that Araia reads for you.
- Calendar: every feed, nap, nappy, solid, medicine and appointment on a colour-coded day or week calendar, so routines and changes are visible at a glance.
- Development: CDC and WHO milestones, age-appropriate activities, analytics on how the week compares with the last.
- AI: Ask Araia reads your baby's logged history before answering, and a cry-analysis feature gives a first read on why your baby is crying.
- Family and privacy: co-parent and caregiver sync is free; data is stored in India, never sold, not used for ads or to train AI; Excel and PDF export.
Where it falls short: it is iPhone-only for now (Android is coming soon), and it is newer than most apps here, so it has fewer years of polish and a smaller community. Its sleep features are solid tracking, not a dedicated sleep-coaching programme.
Mylo — best for pregnancy content and community
Mylo is one of the largest Indian pregnancy and parenting apps, and its strength is breadth of content and a big community of Indian parents, organised into birth clubs. It includes tools such as a vaccination reminder, growth tracker and diet charts. It is content- and community-led rather than built around fast daily logging, so parents who want a detailed feed, sleep and nappy record often pair it with a dedicated tracker.
Huckleberry — best for sleep
Huckleberry is the best-known sleep specialist. Its nap-timing prediction and personalised sleep plans are what people pay for, and it tracks feeds, nappies and growth well too. If sleep is the problem you are trying to solve, it is worth trying. It is designed around US guidance, so it will not help with the Indian vaccination schedule, and the sleep features that set it apart sit behind a subscription.
Baby Tracker and Nara Baby — best simple loggers
If all you want is a fast, reliable log of feeds, nappies and sleep for the newborn months, a dedicated logger like Baby Tracker or Nara Baby does that with very little friction. Neither tries to be a health record, so you will want something else for vaccines and growth once the newborn phase passes.
Glow Baby — tracking plus community
Glow Baby pairs tracking with a large community of parents. The community is its strength; being mostly American, it is less useful on Indian specifics like the IAP schedule or local advice.
BabyCenter — best for reading, not tracking
BabyCenter is primarily a content and community app: week-by-week development articles and forums organised by birth month. It is good company in pregnancy and the early weeks, but it is not a tracker in the sense the others are.
Kinedu — best for development activities
Kinedu focuses on play activities matched to your baby's developmental stage. It complements a tracker rather than replacing one.
How to decide
- Want one app from birth through the toddler years, set up for India? Araia.
- Only struggling with sleep? Huckleberry.
- Only want the fastest possible newborn log? A simple logger like Baby Tracker or Nara Baby.
- Mainly want to read and talk to other Indian parents? Mylo; for international communities, BabyCenter or Glow Baby.
Whichever you pick, run the test from our guide to choosing a baby tracker app: log a nappy one-handed while holding something in the other. If that is annoying on day one, it will be abandoned by week six.

This guide is general information for Indian parents, written from published paediatric guidance (IAP, WHO, AAP). It is not medical advice and cannot account for your baby specifically. Anything that worries you — feeding, breathing, fever, weight, a rash — is a call to your paediatrician, not a search. In an emergency, go to a hospital.
Stop keeping it all in your head
Araia logs feeds, nappies, sleep and weight in one tap, tracks the IAP vaccination schedule for you, and answers questions using your own baby's history.
