Your baby's whole week, on one calendar
Araia's calendar draws everything you log — feeds, sleep, nappies, solids, medicines, symptoms, appointments and vaccines — on a colour-coded day or week grid, so your baby's routine, and anything that has changed in it, is visible at a glance.

The Araia calendar is a baby activity calendar that fills itself in. Everything you log in Araia — by tap, widget or Siri — appears as a colour-coded block on a day or week grid, alongside upcoming appointments and due vaccines. It is in the Analytics tab of the app, on the web dashboard, and on the clinician portal when you share your baby's record with your paediatrician.

What the calendar shows
Every kind of thing you can log in Araia has its own colour, and the colours match everywhere in the app:
- Feeds — breastfeeds with side and duration, bottles with amount.
- Sleep — naps and night sleep as blocks, including sleep that runs past midnight, split cleanly across the two days.
- Nappies — wet and dirty, as markers at the time they happened.
- Solid food — what was offered and how it went.
- Medicines and symptoms — so you can see exactly when the last dose was, and what came before the fever.
- Activities, health readings and notes.
- Appointments and vaccines — past ones solid, upcoming ones drawn dashed so you can see what is coming.
How it works
- Day or week. The day view shows each item with its details; the week view shows the shape of the whole week, so the routine jumps out.
- Tap for details. Any block opens the full entry — amount, side, duration, notes and photos.
- Legend as a filter. Tap a category chip to hide it and see, say, only sleep and feeds. Choose which kinds appear at all, and Araia remembers your choice.
- Pinch to zoom from a whole day on one screen down to five-minute detail.
- Live timers. A breastfeed or sleep timer that is still running draws as a dashed block that grows with the clock — on every caregiver's phone.
What parents use it for
Finding the routine
A week view of sleep makes the rhythm visible in a way a list never does: when the morning nap actually starts, whether bedtime is drifting, how long the longest night stretch is. Compare it with the wake windows for your baby's age.
Spotting what changed
The useful questions are about change. Did night waking start the week solids did? Did the fever come the evening after a vaccine? Did feeds bunch up in the evening? Laid out on a calendar, cause and timing are usually obvious. See starting solids and fever after vaccines.
Sharing the night
Both parents see the same calendar, so the one taking the morning shift can see at a glance what the night looked like — when the last feed was, and how long the baby has been awake.
Doctor visits
"How has she been sleeping?" is easier to answer with a week on the screen. The same calendar is on the web dashboard, and your paediatrician can see it on the clinician portal if you share your baby's record with them.
Part of one record
The calendar isn't a separate thing to keep up. It is drawn from what you already log — one tap, the home screen widget or Siri — alongside the IAP vaccination schedule, appointments and everything else in Araia. See everything Araia does.
